2003-2004
  • Grant missed the entire season after undergoing a fourth operation on his left ankle and a staph infection that caused his temperature to soar and his body to go into shock which resulted in a fifth surgery.
2002-2003
  • Grant Hill returned to the court after sitting out for one season due to left ankle surgery.
  • After playing in 27 games, Grant’s ankle was re-injured and underwent a fourth operation which was the most extensive — his heel was broken and re-aligned with his leg.
2001-2002
  • Grant Hill returned to the court after sitting out for one season due to left ankle surgery.
  • On November 24th, Grant missed his first game of the season when he sustained a left foot sprain in Charlotte, NC against the Hornets. The Magic performed testing and x-rays on his ankle and placed Grant on the Injured Reserve List on December 7th.
  • On December 19th, the Magic announced that he will be out for the rest of the season and will undergo surgery to remove a bone spur in his left ankle.
  • Hill competed in 14 games, averaging 16.8 ppg., 8.9 rpg. and 4.6 apg., 1.75 steals, in 36.6 minpg. He led the team with five double-doubles. Hill led (or tied) the team in scoring twice, in rebounding a team-best eight times and in assists five times.
2000-2001
